Helixoft has released VBdocman 2.25, a Visual Basic Add-In for automatic generating of technical documentation from VB source files.
With VBdocman, every VB programmer can generate technical documentation for his Visual Basic projects with just few mouse clicks. It parses source code and automatically creates table of contents, index, topics, cross-references and context-sensitive help. Thus, you have MSDN-like help for your ActiveX control in just a few seconds. Users can create their own formats of output documentation. The predefined output formats are CHM, HLP, RTF, HTML and XML.
You can add additional descriptions manually, or let
VBdocman extract them from source code comments from special tags.
VBdocman can add all necessary tags itself. You then add a short
description to them, or you can use the built-in comment editor. In
this case you generate final documentation in all available formats
without typing any words.
VBdocman works with VB 6 on all Windows platforms. Using
it, you can save many days of boring, time-consuming and
error-producing work. Communication within the developoment teams
improves, especially when Source Safe is used. The new version comes with enhanced output formats.
VBdocman 2.25 costs $79.00(US) for a single-user license and $590.00 for a site license. For more information, visit http://www.vbdocman.com or write to peter@vbdocman.com .
